In a 2023 study, “Best country in the global education system”, Nigeria placed 124th. This in comparison with countries such as Botswana which placed 92nd and Kenya which took the 95th spot. It is clear that change needs to happen.

Nigeria’s low literacy rate has been of great concern, but between 2010 and 2021 there has been a 13.9% growth in literacy.
